Slavin Law, LLC was founded by attorney Caitlin Slavin in 2017 and specializes in U.S. Immigration and Nationality Law.
Ms. Slavin has represented immigrants since 2002. She began her career as a Board of Immigration Appeals Accredited Representative and earned her Juris Doctor from Massachusetts School of Law in 2013. She joined the Massachusetts bar in 2013 as an Attorney, practicing exclusively in the field of U.S. Immigration and Naturalization law. Prior to starting her own practice, Ms. Slavin was the Managing Attorney of the Immigration Legal Department at the International Institute of New England, and an Immigration Attorney at Seyfarth Shaw, LLP and the Irish International Immigrant Center (now the Rian Immigrant Center).
Throughout her career, Ms. Slavin has represented clients in all types of immigration cases, with an emphasis on family-related immigration matters and naturalization. She consults and represents clients seeking assistance with a range of matters, including marriage-based green card applications, fiancé visas, naturalization, adjustment of status, consular processing, family reunification, change and extension of status, and U Visas. Her years of experience with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services have provided her with expertise that clients appreciate.
Ms. Slavin represents clients throughout the United States and abroad. Her practice emphasizes accessibility, personalized service, and fast turnaround, all of which have led to satisfied clients who have referred others to her office.
Ms. Slavin provides pro bono legal services to community-based organizations in the city of Boston serving individuals who are unable to afford legal services. She is also an active member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA).
